Members of the Forum of Higher Education Institutions in the Amhara region, ten federal universities, coordinated by Wollo University, at the green legacy launch ceremony of Mt Tosa, which is located in the Awash Basin. The general secretary of the forum added that the seedling planting campaign was successful and entrusted the universities to focus on increasing the survival rate of the seedlings planted every year in their respective areas All the participating universities in the greening program on Mt Tosa were planting apple fruit seedlings and other tree species suitable to the environment. Mt Tosa is a place where it contributes as tributary of Abay and Awash rivers. It is remembered that Wollo University started Abay Awash Basin Research institute ate directorate level.
