Presidents of Higher Education Institutions in Amhara State have a fruitful visit to strengthen the ties between the brotherly people of Amhara and Afar. During the visit, the victim families and war-affected communities were among them, and purchased three camels during the holy month of Ramadan. Although millions of Amharas are also suffering, the forum has donated 2 million (two million) in cash to the needy people of Afar, and the 10 universities have pledged to provide similar assistance individually or collectively. In addition, they also agreed to work with Semera University on human resource development, research and community service, and agreed that universities would work to provide manpower education opportunities for the Afar Regional State
