The destruction of universities is a clear indication that in the future there will be more tragic acts and atrocities than what we have seen and heard. The Forum for Higher Education Institutions in the Amhara Region toured the looting and destruction of Wollo, Magkdel-amba and Woldia Universities, as well as other research institutes and factories from 28-30 December 2021. Severe damage to property, looting of property, vandalism of non-plunderers (from high equipment to small sockets, breakers, power cords, etc.), as well as the writing of obscene and derogatory material on every wall they find. They committed unspeakable crimes. We have seen the saying, "If I do not eat, I will throw it away." The purpose of the destructive and obscene writing: ፨ Humiliation, ፨ Showing that the invading team is invulnerable and invincible and ፨ It clearly shows that it is abuse and poverty. The similarity of the damage to all three universities and other institutions confirms that the damage was done through planning, training and deployment. This is a clear indication that in the future there will be many more tragic, egotistical acts than we have ever seen or heard. Although we suffered casualties at the hands of the invading forces, though we mourn and weep, the perseverance and unity of our people, their kindness and concern, and their efforts to get out of trouble quickly have given us hope. It shows us that we need to learn from our weaknesses. We have learned a lot from the sweet tongues of Abune Kerlos and Abune Ermias.
